This is my wife’s old Jeep she drove in High School back in 2003. It is now my DD as I only drive about 30 miles a week. I have always been into cleaning cars but about 2 years ago I bought a porter cable and have been playing around ever since. Anyway I have been testing everything on this jeep as it is hammered. Check out that hood...gross I actually wet sanded the hood with 4000 grit sandpaper because I have never done that to a vehicle before. Anyway after working on this hood for some time and learning as I go I think I am finally done. This week I hit it with HD Cut (Megs MF pad) and HD Polish (Hex Logic Green) and topped it off with some Megs Cleaner wax (Hex Logic Black). I think my arm speed and hand pressure is what really cleaned it up the most. Slow down boss!

Anyway sorry for the shitty phone pics…I still have not grasped the art of before and after pics. I will try with my DSLR this weekend.

Thank you...it needs some touch up paint. Thats next. I want to see how can fill up some the nasty chips on the hood. She still loves that Jeep but I think shes done with it. Ita great to have a car to practice with because I would love to detail others peoples cars at some point.

That's amazing and proves that vehicles can be saved without a new paint job. They only have original paint once!

Job well done!
