Can Colonite 476s be layered over Klasse AOI? I'm looking for a good AOI to go underneath my upcoming winter layer of Collonite.

Any help appreciated,

If it were me..I would use a sealant first..over the AIO...a good durable one..and then top that with the Collinite....let the collinite be your sacrificial layer to take the hit during the winter..and the sealant protect the paint....do the collinite twice to ensure complete coverage and then your set for winter....

So it should be KAIO-601-105-476s?

So it should be KAIO-601-105-476s?

you can do it that way..or just the AIO and 105 and 476...I like the Marine 501 better than the AIO..but if you have AIO thats fine its a very good product also...just the 501 really deep cleans....wait a few days though before doing the 476....lat the 105 set up ...if you want do 105 twice to make sure you have every thing covered....do a day apart....its cool here now so the 12-24 hour rule comes in to play ....no more nice hot days...lol....

This is really good information. I just picked up some 901 wash, so I guess I'll head back to see if they have the 501 and 105 as well.

Thanks, can't wait to get the process going!

Al
When you wait a couple of days what do you do prior to applying the wax? Do you do a full wash and dry or will you use a spray and wash? Also, just curious if the wash affects the 105, at all, in terms of washing some of it away?

AL,

Thanks again for all the good advice. I have found locally the 501 and will use that underneath the col. 476s. Spoke with the tech guy at duragloss and he actually recommended just claying and applying 501. Then for shine boost using AW 951. He mentioned that 501 is basically 105 with stronger cleaners in the polish.

Yup..501 has as good as protection as 105....that was my observation...but its a very strong cleaner so you would not be able to layer say 2 coats....

the 501 topped with collinite will be a very durable winter coat.....

yes use AW when you can will improve it during the winter....dirt just rolls off the AW
