When I first joined this board I mentioned that I had a friend who'd Grand National needed some love. Well today it got some. Eventually this car will need a new paint job. There were just some defects that couldn't be fixed.
My process was this.
Wash w/PB's suds
Clayed
Washed again
SSR2 w/orange pad on UDM (probably could have gotten away with SSR2.5)
PP w/bonnet
EX
I'll get back and do a coat of Natty's blue or Red next week. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure:

GNX #502 is on sale in Dupont Registry this month for 65k .... looks like prices are finally going up on what was arguably the last muscle car of the 80's.

Nice job. I've posted pics on here of my Turbo T so you know Im a little partial to the Turbo Regals. I did a buddies of mine a couple of months ago and after I worked on it I just told him he needed a new paint job. GNX prices are going on up there its hard to find one below 70K nowadays. Nice work on the GN on fixing what was fixable.

All of my friend's cars have low miles. I'm going to do some more work for him. He's got 3 GN. Sadly no GNX's and a turbo Regal. None of those particular cars have more than 30,000 miles on them. He wants to sell one of the GN's and the turbo Regal.
I can't wait to get some show and shine pics of his 70 GTO w/LS2. I might try to get my hands on that one next week. :awesome:

Oh I wasn't nearly as tired or worn out after this job as I was when I did my car. What's with that picture?

Well I've got an 87 T-Type Regal to fix up today. Will post up pictures when I'm done. Ahh the joys of working with single stage paint.
