I am looking for a good quality, extendable brush to wash a truck with. Microfibre preferred. Something washable. Suggestions?

You and me both. I'm all ears if somebody knows where to get some.

What type of truck if I may ask? A little more specific on what you are going to be using it for.

Wally World has grey Chenille microfiber(noodles) wash mitt on red 48 in. extendable pole for $9.97. Removable and re-washable. I too have been unable to find these here at AG.

We do Tractors and quite a bit of semi truck work. Our customers spend quite a bit to clean them up and it would be great to supply something to keep it that way. agribuff.com

Have you looked at the boars hair ones that autogeek sells? They are super soft, sometimes to soft to effectively remove all the road film. Also Griots Garage sells some so check them out.

Does boar's hair lift grit as well or better than microfibre?

Im not totally sure, i would say microfiber would get the surface cleaner, but boars hair would be more gentle: less chance of scratching or marring. Never used the microfiber style. Hopefully more experienced people can chime in

Boars hair can and will mar delicate paint finishes. Microfiber is the way to go!

years ago i bought an extendable piece that had a head on it that resembles the glass master head. on it went a chenille bonnet. worked great for exactly what you mean. i think i got it at a run of the mill automotive retailer.

i still have it, believe it or not. just no need to use it at this stage.

Shurhold Swivel Pad & Lambs Wool Cover Combo, lambswool cleaning pad (http://www.autogeek.net/shurhold-swivel-pad-combo.html)

This works well though it's not MF

Here is a brush I bought from Amazon. Below is the name, I'll try and repost a picture of it. It's not expensive, fast shipping, and it works really well for me. Plus you can remove the mop head (fabric head) by untying it and wash it in the washer. Hopefully this will work for you.

Happy Detailing...😀
