When I use sw as dry aid I always avoid getting it on the glass but well maybe I shouldn't, any thoughts? ?

D156 is fine on glass

I have found that some waxes are not compatible with windows that have been coated with G1 and look blotchy

My windows are coated with FlyBy30 or Forte so I avoid using D156 or Reload or anything else on them. I've "layered" the glass coating on one of our cars with HydroFoam with no ill efects.

I've used Hydro Max, OCW, and Aqua Wax on my windows.

I've also used non spray waxes: Collinite 845 and Duragloss 105.

All give me great beading. Rarely need my wipers.

I used to but the early morning humidity sticks more on the glass when I spray wax (optimum car wax / D-156). Raw clean glass works better for me YMMV.

Humidity? Sometimes I wish we had some so I could experience it.
Az is just a dry heat.

I'll trade ya for your July 110/40% for our 99/95% anyday :D

On a muggy sticky humid day you get outside of your cool a/c vehicle and your sunglasses fog up instantly.

I don't suppose using fully synthetic "waxes",
(whether they're packaged as sprays, pastes, creams),
would cause any visual driving impairments...
especially if they are properly applied.

However:
Except for "deep-cleaning" with products like:
Mother's Chrome Polish, Meguiar's M04, Bon Ami,
and/or Barkeeper's Friend once/twice a year...

I don't use anything on exterior auto-glass other than
"dedicated" Glass Cleaners: i.e. Meguiar's D120,
Sprayway 050, Stoner's IG, etc.

More like 110 / 12%
You can't touch your steering wheel. Saw one poor guy parked at the mall with his windows all rolled up. The hot air in his sedan blew out his rear window.

hey I don't want to LIVE in your humidity, just experience it once. In the late '60's I tried everything at least once.

I like to use Griots speed shine on the windows sometimes. Works good.

I've had D156 make my wiper blades chatter. I switched over to a dedicated glass coating which is much better.
