Had a longer lunch break today and decided on a whim to go home and do a torture test of my newly acquired D115. Conditions were less than ideal. Actually they were appalling. 93 degrees ambient temps, car was sitting outside for 3 hours, hot engine bay, only 45 mins to work. Thankfully the car wasn't super dirty because I just did a rinseless over the weekend. Well the results were awesome. I used 1:8 dilution ratio and worked in small sections but it still streaked a little. Nothing a quick spritz and light buffing took care of. Opti-Clean on the other hand would have streaked and not buff out without heavy pressure and multiple passes. Even windows came out streak free! No need for glass cleaners anymore? Best of all the slickness left behind rivaled that of a fresh coat of OCW, which is my main LSP. No coatings on this car. Love it will buy again thanks for reading.

Nice write-up.

I almost ordered this during the Labor day sale but decided to wait. Now, I can't help myself and will order it thanks to you!

The assumption is...that everyone knows what D115 is? Many of us don't.I see this a lot where a poster starts talking about a product and referring to it by a number without saying just exactly what the product is.

Let me Google that for you

Meguiars Rinse Free Express Wash & Wax D-11501, rinseless car wash, rinseless wash and wax (http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-rinse-free-express-wash-and-wax-d11501.html)

I was thinking of ordering some of this but the delution ratio seems a little weak. 4-1 for a waterless wash when CG's is 16-1. The D114 seems like a much better option but does not have any protection.

8:1 works just as well according to many people on the forum. If you want even better dilution check out Ultima Waterless Wash + (1:44) and Blackfire's waterless wash (1:48)

Why would you want/need D114, or similar
products, to leave any protection behind...
doesn't the vehicle already have an LSP on it?

If so: Don't you like its characteristics?

Pardon my carelessness :p
From the op's thread title I believe it's guessable what product was being use ^^

With that said:
The product is non other than:
Meguiars Rinse Free Express Wash & Wax

And the product source can be found here:

I'll have to try this stuff out. I've yet to try anything from meguiars that wasn't awesome.

Thanks! Actually your review of D115 is mostly responsible for me wanting to try it.

I want to try something like the 114 or ONR to have on hand to use as a clay lube, rinsless wash. The WW I have now has some protection in it which is nice to use to maintain the LSP ? I think I will order some ONR to try out
