Hi Everyone

Just got to use my tub of Finish Kare HI-Temp Paste Wax today. Application and removal was a breeze. Looks seriously glossy on the paint in the garage, need to take it outside to see what it looks like. I'm certain I've gotten full coverage as I went over each section wiping product a few times over and could not visibly see any missed spots. My question is some have stated it looks better after a few days, is this true? Also does one need to do a second coat considering I have had full coverage but will a second coat improve the look or be a waste of time, product and energy?

With full coverage being a known factor...
I don't layer FK1000P. It's your call, though.

And...as is the case with most Sealants:
After it's given an undisturbed 24 hour cure-time,
FK 1000P, at least to me, does take on a
"better" appearance...

Hope you're similarity affected,
by experiencing the same effect.

I'm no photographer and the best and only camera I own is my iPhone 6.

Taken in the garage with and without the light on, taken outside, then went to a service station nearby to fill fuel and snapped pics there too to get the paint under all lighting conditions:

Thanks, curious to see after 24 hours or a few days if appearance changes. Doesn't seem to look like it requires a second coat though. Anyone tried a second coat and saw a difference?

I did a second coat after 48 hours for durability on Accumulator's (from Autopia) recommendation as he seems to be the resident expert on FK1000 over there and since it's so easy to apply and remove. Didn't see a dramatic difference in the high gloss produced by the first coat, but it did seem a little deeper if you know what I mean. It's been a joy cleaning the car since then--in most cases I've been able to give it a PW, blow dry and pat dry the remaining water and it looks as good as the day I applied it--about 2 months now.

An observation: While I've never had a coating on our cars, I have watched allot of videos of water behavior with a coating and the FK1000 seems to produce that same type of behavior with water jumping off the surface, IMO.

I'm so pleased with it I may try it on my wife's non-metallic black. Damn the "wet look" if it's this easy to keep clean.

Yeah, am keen too to see water behavior.

No wonder Bob recommends this constantly--looks great! Curious on longevity...

Looks great. Fk1000p has been my go to winter wax for at least 5 years now. I also lay down two coats just in case I miss anything.

I noticed something that caught my eye. I'm going to link to it, though it may be removed, so that some of you may notice what I am seeing.

STEP 3 Hi-Temp Paste Wax offered by Finish Kare Mold Release (http://www.finishkare.com/pr-STEP_3_Hi-Temp_Paste_Wax_60_14_2.htm)

Do you see it? The product pictures and code numbers.

I wonder why the discrepancy?
