I follow the Sealants' manufacturers
application directions/recommendations.
They know their product the best.

planning on using finish kare 1000p that i bought recently..
That's a good one...
I use it all the time without using any
IPA/Eraser/Panel-Wipe "wipe-downs"...
with excellent results, I will add!

of Finish Kare 1000P says:

Clean.
No mention of: "Surgically Clean".

:idea:
Try 1/2 of a panel with a "panel wipe-down";
other 1/2 without using a "panel wipe-down".

Compare. Then you can decide which
method is best for you and your vehicle(s).

The conventional wisdom would suggest that the Amigo is a "durable glaze" which is compatible with sealants, while the same conventional wisdom would suggest that P21S is an oily pre-wax cleaner intended for use before a wax, so it would be incompatible with a sealant.

In recent years there has been some fuss over whether the pre-wax cleaners actually interfere with sealants.

Agree. I would do a wipe down if you use the pre-wax cleaner and going to use a sealant.
