I use this APC at full strength without diluting. Directions say heavy duty use should be mixed at 4:1 but want to know how effective that will be on tires. My reasoning for using it at full strength because it's not specifically a tire cleaner but an APC. It works great on tires though and I use this strictly for that. Am I wasting product by not mixing?

I usually dilute it. Don't ask me what ratio I don't remember, I use OPC now for tires, and sometimes the Mother's foaming.

Presently, I use it on my tires at 4:1. It seems to do alright. But I was thinking of trying it at 2:1 or 1:1. I don't think you need to use it at full strength unless your tires were extremely dirty. But if you clean your tires regularly, I would dilute it.

4:1 is a strong dilution for an APC and should be ideal for tires. APC is "all purpose", not any purpose except for tires! ;)
Bottom line is if you feel it isn't being effective at a chosen dilution, then try it a little stronger, but undiluted APC is complete overkill for any scenario I have come across personally.

For tire cleaning purposes:
Meguiar's recommends that D101
be diluted to at least a 4:1 ratio.
IMO:
To use D101 full strength to clean tires
could be considered as: not the most
economically prudent of processes.
BTW:
Keep in mind that D101 should not be used
on uncoated or anodized wheel finishes:
They could incur some unwanted staining.
