Hi Everyone,
I'm wondering what you have used successfully to remove the swirls and scratches from the chrome-like door and hatch handles like those found on Outback and Lexus RX-350 rear gates. They appear to be faux chrome-coated plastic pieces. I can do paint and chrome but these are a real bugger. Thanks for your help.

I've been wondering the same thing!!!

I talked to a reputable professional recently and he said nothing really...

I've searched all over the web for this...NOTHING SATISFYING!!!!!!

don't end here... I would love for someone out there to really prove me wrong...

I've use Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax (maroon bottle) with some success.

Just be verrrry gentle with anything you try. Plastic chrome is thin and soft. Use NOTHING that contains ammonia. Believe it nor not, it will break down the phony chrome.
