I have a few details under my belt and have read alot on this site about detailing. My question is in what order do you do what? I know to wash, dry, and clay the exterior. Then for paint correction compound, polish, then lsp. For your general exterior detail.

What i would like to know is when do you detail the glass, the black and chrome exterior trim? Do you do one or the other before taping or after paint is corrected go back and detail those items?

I always do trim and glass last (in that order). :)

I do trim and glass while my LSP is hazing. If there is any overrun onto the paint, there's an extra layer product of there to help avoid streaks. Depending on the car's trim, I may remove tape just before or just after applying LSP.
