Looks like some of the newly labeled Menzerna products are starting to make their way to the AG site.

It appears this kit is FG400 and SF4500 paired together. Not to step on anyone toes but personally I think SF3500 (SF4000) would have been the better choice to pair with FG400.

Hopefully the newly refreshed PowerLock makes its way to AG since being reformulated.

Thanks for that PowerLock tip :xyxthumbs: ! I just mentioned in another post yesterday that I will be buying some PL next. Now I'll wait till AG gets the new PL formula.

Without wading into an old, er..."discussion", PowerLock is a Menzerna USA product--that one looks like a Menzerna Germany product--will that one replace our PowerLock--or be an addition, or not come here at all?

The below chart was posted in this thread: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/94684-menzerna-successfully-confusing-me.html

PS Looks like about $15 for the ~8oz bottle (based on Euro conversion), I think I'm in to try it for that seeing as how I've never used any of the original.

is sf4000 (sf3800) good enough as 1 step polishing on a clean car with very minor swirls?

That or PF2500.

Yes sir. The only thing in common is the name. Other than that they posses different chemical compositions.

It will most likely not come stateside. Now that MenzernaUSA launched the Jescar name I highly doubt the German formula will make it stateside.

Yes. SF4000 has more bite in it that users imagine.

If SF4000 does not get you where you want to be from your test spot, you can jump down to PF2500 with a white pad.

That or PF2500.

Agreed.

Mike, can you use a pad with more cut to get a little more correction with the SF4000?

I normally stick with SF4000 on a white Hybrid pad driven by the 3401. This usually gives the cut needed.

If not, I step down to PF2500 again with the white Hybrid.

I'm sure SF4000 would provide great results if you step down a pad.
