A brand new Meguiars supreme shine microfiber works great ;)

And a bunch of 'em. I use way more towels in removing cut, buff and polish residue than i do for LSP wipe offs. Also, as Mike is always preaching...WORK CLEAN! Inspect those towels before wiping paint and keep them as clean as possible.

First... I'm not a huge fan of wiping paint with Isopropyl Alcohol at all.

I only wrote the article on this procedure because a handful of guys kept recommending it with ZERO information on how to do it safely and only one-liner posts as far as their "help" goes.

You definitely want LOTS of clean, soft absorbent microfiber towels and fold them 4 ways to spread out the pressure from your hand and also get 8 sides to wipe with

See this article,

Working clean is so important.

I show this in every class I teach, use this test myself and show it to everyone I deal with when working one-on-one about paint polishing.

Meguiars d155 1:1 is a great final wipe product that's easy and safe to use and smells like coconuts!

Mike, what is something more suitable to "strip" the paint prior to coating, sealing, etc?
