need advice on a good product to put on my chrome wheels during the winter to protect from the harsh conditions let alone the salt they put on the roads any advice on some good product i could use?

So far:
Such a protective product has eluded me.

Instead:
I've opted to never expose any of my
chromed-wheels to such contaminates
as you have described.

Sacrifice some wheels you don't care about instead of wheels you do care about.

Here's an unconventional way to protect the wheels, apply a thick coat of a hard wax and don't wipe it off.

The goal is to SEAL the surface so no external substance can make contact with the wheel.

Check the wax coating once in a while and make sure heat from your brakes isn't removing it.

There are a number of hard waxes available on AGO from Dodo Juice. Color wouldn't matter, just a hard layer of wax.

Spray them with plastidip for the Winter? Then, just peel it off for the Spring.
