No go for me...I prefer the leaf blower followed by drying aid/microfiber or WW microfiber method.

If you do not wash your car perfectly and you hit dirt, it just drags the dirt across the surface.

I dont do traditional wash, only rinseless wash every week or 2

I have the xl model and used it for the last couple of years and I love it. I have really hard water where I live and it does a great job of eliminating water spots. Unfortunately I have to wash and dry directly in the sun with no shade so my last rinse I try to get the water to bead and not sheet so I have a few mins working time before the water starts to dry and leave those horrible water spots. After ringing it out it picks up an amazing amount of water.

We only use them on cars that are going to be clayed and polished so we aren't worried about potential marring from the Absorber towel. It does seem to dry the surface very quickly and with minimal effort. The lack of any sort of nap in the fabric is worrisome though since there is nowhere for dirt or dust particles to go other than to be dragged across the paint.

I used one for a very long time before switching up to a MF waffle weave towel this summer.

If a car is very wet and you're not using a sheeting technique, I find the Absorber to work better. However, when dealing with the minimal water left behind when sheeting I feel the MF towels glide of the surface better with less potential for marring. MF towels are also the only way to go if you use any type of drying aid.

I've kept my Absorbers, but they are strictly for wheel duty these days.
