I usually use DP tire restorer and cleaner, then scrub the hell out of it with Carpro eraser...works great

I use clay or nanoskin on trim pieces in addition to the paint and glass. I have 'trim" pieces of clay just for that purpose. They end up getting pretty black on black materials but junk does come off trim. I then use either iso alc or Eraser to clean it up before LSP. I also hit it with Iron X but more of an overspray from applying Iron X to the paint. I don't specifically apply it directly to trim pieces but it does get some.

I've never really liked Magic Eraser for any vehicle applications but that's just my opinion. Seems too harsh for me. I fully accept that others may like it though.

Isn't Back to Black more of a dressing than a trim cleaner? Personally I would still want to clean the trim the best I could BEFORE applying any kind of dressing.
