Is their any point to buying ssr 3 or will ssr 2.5 with the right pad do the job and is using ssr1 good enough to be a final polish after using ssr 2.5, should I follow ssr1 with pb profesional polish or just go to to a sealant?

I also was reading that pb professional polish can work on metals and chrome, or should I use something else?

I guess it depends on the severity of the swirls/scratches. Personally, I haven't had amazing results on a Meguiar's polishing pad and SSR 2.5. I am going to have to step it up to SSR 3 because I don't have a pad with more cut. I would probably use 2.5 with a pad that has more cut if I could. SSR 1 is good enough for final polishing, and I don't know anything about the pro polish, so I can't help you there. Sorry.
