Hey everybody.

I am used to caring for cars with imperfect paint to begin with, but I made the mistake of purchasing a new Modern-Steel-Metallic accord. (my neurosis is insane :D).

It was clayed upon delivery, and has received 2 coatings of Collinite 845.

Before our depressingly long New England winter begins, I would like to maximize protection, and luster.

I've been reading up on Cquarts, and it seems to fit my needs. Would it be possible to get more than 1 coat on a full-size car from a 50 ml bottle?

Is M205 with a white pad too aggressive for spot polishing before sealing?

I'm armed with a 7424XP, and an assortment of LC pads. The only product that I have currently is M205.

M205 is a finishing product, so I can't see that being to aggressive for your needs. I'm sure the paint coating is the way to go but since your already a Collinite user you might wanna check out #476 double coat. I used it last fall going into winter, 2 coats and it did a great job. I like coatings as well but #476 will get the job done.

Brilliant recommendation, I haven't thought about that. Thank you.

30 ml will be enough for two coats on all painted surfaces

There are too many factors to figure out (without a test spot) whether or not the 205 and white are enough or too much for your paint condition.

You have to consider how bad the current defects are, how hard or soft the paint is, how many section passes youre going to do, how much correction you want (80% or 99%)
