Paint System 1967 Mustang Coupe

Does anyone know what kind of paint system was used on 1967 Mustangs? I'm thinking it might be lacquer, but I'm not sure.

Ford used single-stage acrylic enamel in those years, still an old-tech paint, but a bit more durable than the lacquer used by GM.
