Car care products are usually placed into one of two categories: A. They solve an issue (ie: swirl marks) or B. They are simply enjoyable to use while excelling at their intended application.

Few products fall into both categories, but every now and then something comes along that solves an issue while being a real pleasure to use. Pinnacle Exhaust Cleaner & Brightener is one of those products, and I can't help but grin every time I recommend it at one of our local car shows.

Here's why: Having swirl-free paint means nothing if your glass isn’t streak-free, tires aren’t perfectly dressed, and exhaust tips aren’t polished to a mirror shine.

Sure, you can break out any old metal polish and make your exhaust tip clean again, but you could also wipe your paint down with a quick detail spray found at the dollar store - but you don't! Here's why: you're a passionate enthusiast that wants the best for your vehicle. The best solution for keeping your exhaust tips clean and shiny is the newest product to bear the Pinnacle name - Exhaust Cleaner & Brightener (http://www.autogeek.net/pinnacle-exhaust-cleaner-brightener.html).

I recently detailed a 2014 Buick Verano (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-n-shine/94322-boss-g15-hd-speed-detail-2014-buick-verano.html) with exhaust tips that were filthy and dull. Believe it or not, it was actually the part of the detail that I looked forward to the most. With a small amount of Pinnacle Exhaust Cleaner & Brightener applied with a Lake Country Exhaust Polishing Sponge (http://www.autogeek.net/lake-country-exhaust-sponge.html), they were looking better than new in no time.

Here's how it works: Pinnacle Exhaust Cleaner & Brightener is a thick cream that is formulated using an advanced blend of all-natural cleaners, diatomaceous clay, and a durable anti-corrosion agent that protects the surface against heat and soot build up. Pinnacle Exhaust Cleaner & Brightener is not the least bit messy to use, and it’s easy enough that anyone can polish their exhaust tips to a mirror finish in just a few minutes.

Remember, having swirl-free paint means nothing if your glass isn’t streak-free, tires aren’t perfectly dressed, and exhaust tips aren’t polished to a mirror shine.

Nick, I recently used this for my exhaust tips with great results. Question for you, will this work on my chrome wheels? I've been using 3m chrome and metal polish but just ran out. Love the 3m, but if this stuff will work as well, I won't need to purchase the 3m again. Thanks for any input!

I agree with Nick. Works great on chrome rims. The protective coating it leaves behind is pretty good. I posted this same video in my review thread.

I'm going to video bomb Nick's thread.

I only have one photo but it works really well.

Thanks for the info Nick. It just so happened that I received the Pinnacle Exhaust Cleaner & Brightener Kit on Monday. (I didn't have anything small enough to work inside the exhaust.) I have looked all over the Internet and cannot find any information on application temperature range. I'm presuming it needs to be cooled down, but wasn't sure how cool. Now that you have indicated I can also use on my chrome wheels, I really need to make sure everything has cooled down. Just trying to get an idea of how cool. Any suggestions? Anyone?

The surface should NOT be hot to the touch for two reasons:

1. The polish won't work as well.
2. You could possibly burn your hands.

Let the exhaust/wheels cool down before cleaning or polishing them. :dblthumb2:

Hmmm ... It sounds like I need to apply some common sense on this one. Thanks for the feedback, especially about the polish not working as well. A note I need to remember.

Cheers,
Mark
