Justin Sherwood, aka Smokinss stops by AG headquarters on a regular basis (one of the perks of passing our facility on every day!). Justin is always working on cool cars, so when he mentioned that he had a 2015 Chevrolet SS equipped with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION (not a typo) for a few days, I knew I had to see it in person. Justin was kind enough to let me stop by his house one night after work last week so I could check out this beauty in person.

First and foremost, Justin did an outstanding job on the detail. His write up can be found here: 2015 Chevy SS/ Holden SSV PBL V2!!! (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-n-shine/94099-2015-chevy-ss-holden-ssv-pbl-v2.html)

Wheels cleaned with iron-x then sealed with Hydro2.
Tires cleaned with tuffshine and protected with Blackfire total eclipse tire dressing.
Bugs removed with PB bug squash
Washed with Blackfire car wash soap
Paint decontaminated with nanoskin fine mitt and iron-x.
Polishing was done with 3401, white flat pad, Menzerna pf2500.
Prepped with Blackfire coating prep spray.
Pinnacle black label v2 applied to the paint.

Put your sunglasses on!

Love the color AND the fact that you can still get a V8 in a manual. Awesome stuff.

Where did all the Holden badging come from? Is that an option w/ Chevy? Or did the owner source the parts directly from Oz?

Good question. This owner bought all of the badges from Australia and had the dealer install them before he picked it up. Now you can get them directly through the dealer.

Great pics Nick, there's a Holden Club of Chicago that comes out to the monthly cars and coffee here and they all have converted their cars over to Holden, well one has the bowtie centercaps but everything else is Holden. One thing though, I'm pretty sure they don't have the piano black trim in the grills, side gills and rear valance panel. Although I'm not a fan of the piano black it really sets it apart from what these guys have done.

How awesome is that blue inperson!!!

The car really isn't a Chevy though, just saying! :)

Good eye, but his car did come with the piano black grill and rear lower valance and side grills.

This color in direct sun is simply amazing. Could use a tiny bit more flake but def not complaining.
