Decided to play around with some new stuff I got last week. I hope you guys don’t mind this not being on a vehicle but I never seem to fit in taking pictures when doing rides..

Stumbled across this kirby for dirt cheap - DELIVERED!! Thought it would be fun and funny to do this...

It was in rough shape as you will see, the Surf City Maximum Metal was put to the test.

It has some really awesome cleaning power. Once it breaks down you can really see and feel it doing its thing. I used a dime sized squirt on my finger which was wrapped with a mf for each "panel". I rubbed it in, then buffed off with a clean mf, I did this 3 times on each area. It was still cleaning stuff off after 3 times.

As of tonight I am adding a 4" pad on my list for this stuff, I feel that would really work well – I feel that with a pad I could have whipped it with 1-2 apps.

This stuff is AWESOME.. Another hit.

(Pictures aren’t the best quality...)

Hey - if it cleans metal, it cleans metal. That looks like a pretty nice difference!

I'm guessing it's a vacuum cleaner...

New Kirby vacs cost upwards of $1K. It can vacuum, shampoo etc.
Cool review of SCG Max Metal. I like that 50/50 shot.

When I was a kid my parents had a Kirby. My dad had a spary gun attachment for it and use to use to to spray paint stuff. No kidding.

I believe you! I remember they could do all kinds of stuff. They lasted forever. Wouldn't it be cool if you could attach the foam gun to it? Vacuum, shampoo, scrub and extract the interior and foam down the car with one Kirby vac! :D

Yup, she's a vac... Kirby's are damn expensive, I bought my ex one or else I would never even beleive some one if they told me they spent $1k and up for a vac.....

They still come with all kinds of attachments and this thing can do so much from a shampooer to a wood sander it's really amazing engineering.

I had fun detailing something new:D

thanks for looking!

I have 2 kibys...first one I got 23 years ago and still runs like a champ....I bought a newer version on ebay a few years ago and runs great also...its one of the best Vacs you can buy.....best built ones also....23 years and not a problem proves to me its a good vac..I just buy belts ...bags...and roller brush when needed....

Enjoy it Jason.....
