Greetings!
I'm Chris from the Midwest.
I'm here because I got a new-to-me truck a couple of months ago, and it's bright, shiny red, and it looks good to me. Well, I kept my aluminum diamond plate saddle box from my last (two) trucks (I bought the box new in '94, so this is its 3rd ride), and realized how beat up the box is, and it kind of clashes. So in internet researching metal polishing, I found this forum.
So I'm here to learn, and it looks like this is THE place to do it. Honestly being in the Midwest everything gets corroded as hell, so I never washed my trucks more than once or twice a year. But now I want to start taking care of the body more, because I can get 300K miles from an engine.
I do occupational safety for a day job, have a wife and a preschooler.
