Kinda need to see the annoying marks first.

Hi Waxmaster,
Noticed the failed upload, then re-saved & pic #1 trunk, #2 hood

What car?
Honestly, just work your way up least aggressive. I never actually, literally do least aggressive when correcting paint. If I get a car that has seen tunnel washes for years, I'm not starting with SF4500, but I will start with PF2500.
However, when trying to remove marks, I always start with a paint cleaner or SF4500, then work up.
Again, you need to specify the car so there's a remote idea of the paint type and also whether or not these marks are above or below the surface.
To answer your question though:
If above, then try clay first. If below or clay does not work then work up from the least aggressive thing you have.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Megs or SF. I have no experience with the CG's.

Thanks Conman,
It's an Audi 2014. I'll try clay, then Menzerna first, I believe this to be the least aggressive of the products mentioned. Kinda hard to compare aggressiveness across mfg's
Thanks

@WaxMaster1 - should have previously said "technical difficulties" LOL.

What pads were you using Rico? That second pic reminds me a lot of burn through.
A reflection maybe?

CG's hexlogic polishing & finshing red & black.
I had to get rid of bird poop, (2nd pic) I used V36 to wipe most or all the stain then, used V38.
At detailing time, I could not see, any of this, & now I know about. Final inspection Menzerna & bright tripod lighting. Seems like residual product left after wiping, can/does obscure.
Thanks
