Added this to the stable last week. 2015 F-150 Lariat 5.0L. Loaded with electronics. First vehicle I have seen with an inverter and 110 outlet in the vehicle. Ford's electronics have come a long way in the past 10 years! Cell phone picture isn't great...

Man way cool!! All aluminum F150! I like the 5.0 over the 3.5L Ecoboost! Beautiful ride!

Thanks, On one of the automotive shows a couple months ago they were taking a sledge hammer to the bed of one of these trucks trying to dent it, they did dent it but it was surprising what it took. That aluminum is pretty tough!
We plan on towing with it so I definitely wanted the 5.0 for towing.

That I could! I might have bought the Mustang GT when I bought my Camaro, but the 2010 Mustang had the 4.6 L and I knew they were switching to the 5.0 in 2011.

Thanks Sizzle

I was reading somewhere that they temper the aluminum to give it dent-resistance, it may even be better than the steel panels, I can't remember.

I think it probably is. They say it's military grade aluminum?

I'm on my iPad and have difficulty posting links. If you go to you tube and type in 2015 f150 sledgehammer you can watch the guys from Edmunds hit it. Guy swinging the hammer gets laughed at.
