I need some forum expert Autogeek help with my MTM Hydro Professional Foam Lance Part#14.0263 Max 5000 PSI Max GPM 5.3 with 1.25mm special nozzle. I have been using lance for a couple years with decent results using Electric PowerWasher 1.4 GPM 1800 PSI. I bought this lance online not understanding lance is designed to be used with powerful gas and high end electric pressure washers.
My question is can I replace 1.25mm special nozzle Part#36.0227 with 1.1mm special nozzle that is used with MTM Hydro Professional Foam Lance Part#14.0349 Max 2600 PSI Max GPM 2.4. The component list is nearly identical between these 2 MTM lances. MTM does not list a part# for 1.1mm nozzle.
MTM catalog pages 30 and 31 have foam lances and spare parts available. Replacement 1.25mm nozzle is available for 14.0263. Both lances share Part# 41.0400 O-rings and stainless steel filter.
I know easy solution is buy MTM Hydro Professional Foam Lance Part#14.0349 designed for use with Min 1.4 GPM and Min 1100 PSI Max 2600 PSI pressure washers. I rather spend less than $10.00 than to re-spend $55.00 to $65.00.
