Been reading for a while, but joined to get some advice to move onto the next levek( been waxing and using rubbing compound by hand). Going to drop my questions on the right forum area I hope because I'm about to purchase a DA , and some extras and kind find to seem to find the right kit. It's confusing

Thanks
J

Thank you, and I've already learned quite a bit but learning all these acronyms is going to take a bit. Anybody recommend with forum to post my questions about choosing a DA polisher and a good stay or products to repair paint on dark/light vehicles thanks. Just want to post were I can get the most feedback as my 15% code expires this month by I just joined AGO

For a good overall DA at a decent price look into the GG6" DA. It has a lifetime warranty and it is pretty strong. You can get multiple size backing plates and different pad sizes to tackle any detailing job.

As for product; there are so many it will make your head spin. I like the Menzerna Line: FG400 and SF4500, however, there are the Meguiar's 105 and 205 or the Wolfgang combos.

I would also highly recommend getting Mike Phillips book on the Art of Detailing or Show Car Detailing. That will teach you a lot about car detailing.
