Hi,
I'm lizmonique & I'm a service advisor from DFW. I work in the collision repair industry. I am here because I have a good working knowledge of detailing having worked at a car wash/detail center in the past, and of course working now in the body shop. I am always looking to learn more, especially about machine buffing since I don't know how to buff personally and I feel like I should learn sooner than later. :buffing:
I deal with new paint jobs regularly. My most important objectives are:
A) Exterior - making sure whatever I do is safe for new paint jobs and doesn't damage existing panels and parts that have not been repaired or replaced.
B) Interior - finding ways to clean that are cost-effective and can remove bondo dust, compound, urethane, occasional overspray, etc. off interior surfaces without causing damage.
I'm always willing to invest to help myself in post-repair cleaning if I don't have an item supplied by the shop, but I'm always down to save money, too!
Thanks for reading!
