View Full Version : Used ultima waterless wash to get rid of some bug guts..

and I noticed I was leaving scracthes on the paint. I sprayed UWW heavily on affected areas and swiped gently with a once washed MF towel, and another to dry. Any ideas?

EDIT - I also wet the mf towels a bit with the uww before wiping with them.

You need to let it dwell longer.

I agree with rsurfer. I recently went on a road trip and had a lot of bug guts to remove. I sprayed the bugs liberally with ww and then used a qd on the rest of the car while the ww softened the bugs. Probably soaked a good ten minutes until I got back to them. Wiped once with a micro fiber flipped and wiped again good to go.

^+1 We have the wonderful love bugs here 2x a year. Depending on how baked on the bugs are, up to 5 to 10 minute soak with UWW+ will really soften them up allowing for a quick wipe off.
