Review: Pinnacle Leather Conditioner - New Formula! (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/new-car-care-products/93488-review-pinnacle-leather-conditioner-new-formula.html)

Pinnacle Natural Brilliance introduces a brand new formula for Pinnacle Leather Conditioner. There was nothing wrong with the old formula as thousands of satisfied customers can attest to but whenever new technology or chemistry is introduced that will take an already great product to a higher level then the our formulas are updated to continually provide our customers with the cutting edge products for people that want the best.

Improvements

Thicker formula spreads easier on both vertical and horizontal surfaces.

More luxurious leather fragrance that restores the "new leather smell" of your interior.

Faster absorption into the leather to restore and maintain the soft supple feel.

Less wiping off of excess product making treating your leather faster and easier.
Making a great product better
Besides the new improvements to this legendary leather conditioner, Pinnacle Leather Conditioner still retains all the benefits and features you already loved.

Exceedingly rich in lanolin and other natural oils
These oils absorb into the leather replacing natural oils that are lost through processing, repeated leather cleaning, wear-n-tear and of course the ravages of time, heat and humidity. Applying lanolin and other natural oils re-hydrates leather to help it remain soft while resisting cracking caused by over exposure to the sun. This is especially important if you own a convertible with leather seats.

The lanolin acts like a natural moisturizer for the leather hide in the same way a quality skin lotion works to re-moisturize dry human skin.

Preserves and maintains
Start applying Pinnacle Leather Conditioner immediately after you purchase a brand new car and by doing so you'll maintain the soft, pliable feel as well as the integrity of the leather for years of beauty and service.

No harsh solvents or cleaning agents
Because leather is a natural animal skin it can be negatively affected just like your skin if any harsh solvents or cleaning ingredients are applied to it. Pinnacle Leather Conditioner does NOT contain any type of petroleum distillates (solvents) or alkaline ingredients which can act to dry out leather by leaching out natural oils.

pH neutral
Pinnacle Leather Conditioner has a pH rating of 7 so it's perfectly neutral and safe for leather.

UV protection
Pinnacle Leather Conditioner contains a strong UV protectant to protect leather from the harmful effects caused by exposure to sun light. This is vitally important if you drive a convertible with the top down.

VOC compliant
The Pinnacle Leather Conditioner is eco friendly.

Mike's comment...
If I didn't know this conditioner was for leather, (the rich leather scent gives it away), I would think it was a high end boutique skin lotion like my wife gets at the day spa.

Directions for use

1. First always vacuum to remove any loose dirt. This is especially important for areas like seems, around stitching and crevices like where the back of the seat meats the face of the seat.

2. Clean the surface of the leather using Pinnacle Leather & Vinyl Cleaner using a clean microfiber applicator pad or a microfiber towel. Cleaning removes any surface staining (visible or invisible), things like perspiration, body oils, sun tan lotions, etc. Basically anywhere your skin touches you can get a build-up of oily grime.

3. Wipe away any leftover cleaner using a clean, dry microfiber towel.

4. Apply Pinnacle Leather Conditioner using a clean, soft foam applicator pad or even your bare hands if you like. Spread the lotion over the surface and thoroughly massage the lotion into the leather using overlapping circular motions.

5. Allow the conditioner to penetrate for a few seconds and then buff the surface with a new, clean soft microfiber towel to leave behind perfect looking and perfectly conditioned and protected leather plus the intoxicating scent of new leather.

Regular application of Pinnacle Leather Conditioner will keep leather looking and feeling new while protection your investment.

Clean leather surfaces first
After vacuuming, apply Pinnacle Leather & Vinyl Cleaner to remove any body oils, perspiration, suntan lotions and normal dirt and grime build-up.

Tech tip
To avoid overspray onto non-leather surfaces, instead of spraying Pinnacle Leather & Vinyl Cleaner onto a leather surface bury the nozzle into your applicator and inject the cleaner. This will put the cleaner directly into your applicator pad and when you press the applicator against the leather surface it will release the cleaner to go to work cleaning.

Tech Tip
For cleaning leather, use soft microfiber applicator pads or towels. Even though microfiber cloth is soft it provides a very gentle type of scrubbing action that foam cannot provide. Start at the top and work your way down and around.

Apply NEW Pinnacle Leather Conditioner
Apply Pinnacle Leather Conditioner directly to the face of a clean soft foam applicator sponge. This new product will be absorbed into the leather as you massage the surface so use plenty of product for best results.

Be sure to apply to both the leather surfaces as well as the stitching and into any seams, cracks and crevices.

As you press against foam the natural reaction for the foam is to release product that you can then massage into the leather.

Wipe off any excess product using a soft, clean dry microfiber towel and you're done!

Yes.

When it comes to leather interiors the best thing you can do is find a product you like and then use it on a regular basis.

Unfortunately it's not recommended for aniline leather. Great stuff though - been using this leather conditioner for treated surfaces since 1996.

The new formula is in fact safe for use on aniline leather. The label will be updated to reflect this. :dblthumb2:
