View Full Version : Can 303 aerospace stain adjacent upholstery when wiping on vinyl ?

Hello,

I never spray 303 protectant while inside the car - I step out and spray it away from the car, onto my MF towel.

However, even when applying to one's MF and then wiping this last onto vinyl surfaces, some product is bound to get on adjacent upholstery.

I'm wondering whether 303 might end up staining upholstery under the above circumstances ?

303 will not stain your fabric. If you get some on the upholstery and it changes the look of the fabric, it will easily come out with some fabric cleaner.

Your response brought much relief. As far as fabric cleaners are concerned, would you recommend one or a few of your preferred ones ? I've not looked into those, but from memory I know 303 makes one.

Many people on here like Folex, I've used Wolfgang and 303 spot cleaners with success as well as 303 Multi Surface cleaner.

I use a yellow foam applicator on interiors, it gives you better control in those tight areas.

I starting using foam fingers to help keep product where I want it. Makes it easy to apply treatments to the interior.

Wolfgang Finger Pockets <i>are soft, dense foam pockets that fit over your fingers for easy and efficient cleaning. (http://www.autogeek.net/wgpockets.html)

I'd make sure to not get any of the 303AP on
Alcantara/Ultrasuede interior appointments.
