Hello all,
Purchased new cla250 8 months back and looking forward to protect and shine it
I am kind of new to all detailing/waxing and all. and would really be helpful if someone answers my questions

1. For protecting car in winter from snow/salt and rain waxing works better or paint sealant?
2. I read few things on autogeekonline and here..and came up with a plan which I would like to confirm if okay as below?
Use Klasse All in one clear OR Clay to prep?? (clay then which one)
liquid Sealant OR Carnauba Wax ??
anything after that? such as detailer spray or anything needed?

Also please let me know your opinion on how long it will last ? (so that I can remember to do it again after few months or so?)

Thanks a bunch in advance!!

1. Generally speaking, sealant is more durable than wax. But there are some very durable waxes.

2. Using a cleaner-wax or an AIO like Klasse is not a substitute for clay; you should definitely clay before doing any kind of polishing.

3. How long will it last? There is no concrete answer. Some waxes are for show only and won't last but a few weeks. Others could last up to six months. A lot of people boost the protection between major detailing sessions by using a spray wax or sealant.

Wax over a sealant helps in durability and look also.
