Lc ccs pads vs hybrid pads

have noticed some of u recommend using hybrid pads vs ccs pads when using flex polisher. here in dallas it gets really hot, so am wondering if need to change pads more often since they seem to get hot quickly; paint surface gets hot even under the carport

Most of us including I recommend the Hybrid pads for the 3401 as they were designed for the characteristics of the machine. When outfitted with the 5" hybrid pad, there is no better performing setup.

I also recommend the Hybrid pads with DAT based polishes such as Menzerna as the flat face ensures equal breakdown of the polishing material.

If working in outside ambient temperature, (under carport) try and get your heavy work accomplished early in the morning.
