Not the greatest post I'll ever do, but this weekend I got inspired thanks to Tato's post, which among other things shows a great turnaround on some wiper arms:

And Swanicyouth's awesome Dlux post:

Unfortunately, no before's because I really wasn't planning on posting anything but trust me - the arms in question were showing some signs of age and were very tired from the relentless Florida sunshine.

So, I pulled the arms (Swanic, I now know exactly what you mean about that "Bang" sound when they come loose that makes you look around to see who might be watching) and cleaned them very thoroughly with APC and then hit 'em with a little P2 Jeweling Polish, then recleaned with Eraser.

After that, I applied Dlux to them and the difference (to me anyway), is astounding.

Very happy with the results - and also gave me a chance to clean up / Dlux my wiper cowl area too. Fun project!

Here's the afters - not perfect but TONS better:

I use WGETS regularly on my wiper blades it really is all about the details, nice work.

I do this a lot on cars after a full correction and the wipers just look horrendous. If they are too far gone or I feel that the coating can fail, I have them sent out for paint and clear.

I'll normally use UTTG on any wiper arms as part of the trim dressing and it does make a big difference.

Obviously you've gone the extra mile and should expect much more durability.
