Hi geeks, it's been awhile since I last posted but I'm always reading you guys post. Over my driveway is a couple of pine tree that spit that damn sap on my cars. I usually use Purell to get it off. When there's so much of it this can take awhile. What product do you think will work fast and easy?

Agreed on the sappage...it's no fun.

Here's a related thread. I ended up carefully using mineral spirits on the dried up sap spots on this car and it worked well.

TarX worked very well for me.

Purell is mostly (denatured)ethyl alcohol, with some
IPA mixed in the solution.

There are products labeled as "Tree Sap Remover"
(BAF/Pro's C-46 comes to mind)...that also basically
contain similar ingredients, especially IPA.

Then there's:
"Like Dissolves Like"...Turpentine.

Just did a detail this past weekend where the ppl have a huge pine tree they park under. I use alchohol but I ran out because there was so much sap every where. In a pinch for time..call me

crazy but I carefully used break cleaner sprayed onto a micro fiber and spot cleaned the rest off. Worked like a charm:dblthumb2:

I use Tarminator, spray on a rag then wipe. Works well for me.
