Not sure where to put this but wanted to post. My LC interchangeable 5" backing plate for my Flex broke around the screw. Common problem from what I've heard. Anyways, I called LC and they happily warrantied it and sent me out a new one!

I was working with David and wanted to say how helpful and nice he was to work with.

If you haven't yet tried your Flex 3401 with the LC 4"
backing plate, and their 5" Hybrid pads...you need to.

Indeed, it is so good that you just leave the 4" bp attached to the 3401 forever.

Whoops yeah sorry guys meant to say their 4" backing plate. My bad! Haha. I use it with hybrids all the time!

OP, I'm glad that David took good care of you and after meeting him at our Chicagoland Detailfest last year it doesn't surprise me one bit! He's as nice in person as I'm sure he was via PM's or emails to you.:props:

I think we are fortunate, it seems in this industry, more often than not these are the stories we hear. Companies delivering outstanding customer service and standing behind their products. Obviously its not always the case, but mostly it is. I personally have had the same experiences with Autogeek and Meguiars.
