I purchased some dodo juice blue velvet and purple haze. I am starting to get bummed that it has never stopped raining and I still haven't got to try it yet.

So let me live vicariously.... What was your experience with these?

It's great stuff, unless he's ever used it and is speaking from experience he doesn't know what he's talking about. I've used both on my GC and it's in my top 2-3 waxes for dark colored vehicles.

Purple Haze circa summer 2012, pictures speak louder than words!! Im the MAN:buffing:

PS I have DoDo:

Purple Haze, Blue Velvet, Rainforest Rub, Hard Candy, Both White's and Supernatural. The Dodo makes some of the best high quality waxes for the $$$ on the planet and this is not a paid advertisement nor have I ever received any swag from them. Unknown to them I did have a couple swigs of their bottle at the hotel this past DF but that's it. Their Nubas are the real deal and it you have a certain colored car none are better in my lame and often challenged opinion.

You have a white car with flake, Light F, Diamond H or really Krank it UP with Supernatural!! Red, Hard Candy. Dark See above.

RF for mid colors.

Enjoy the DoDo.

And remember a little gooeessss a long way with these waxes, machine apply sparingly and thinnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Nice pics. I have a blue metallic Mazda. With the right products it looks amazing. So many thing I have tried just make it too like a dark navy car... Or do not last long enough. I am hoping to see the sun long enough tomorrow to finally be able to wash it and get started.

No different than most waxes. We all know the way your car looks is 95 percent prep. I have never seen any single wax make me say WOW!!!! That's the best wax ever. Maybe Black Fire or Power Lock. Just my opinion I have given my DDJ's away.

Love blue velvet. I consistently see 3 months durability and while it's not all that important, I love the color charged aspect, especially on white. I have rainforest, blue velvet and supernatural and blue velvet is my favorite.

Dodo waxes are nice boutique waxes:

1. Smell good.

2. Easy on / off

3. Spread far

4. Bead pretty good

5. Color charging adds subtle boost to look.

It's subjective, but they are one of the few products that feel "special" or fancy when you use them - make detailing more fun.

I really liked both when I had them. I used to have an electric blue SRT-4 Neon and really liked the Blue Velvet on it. My buddy Tadd (dark horse) has a picture here with a couple waxes on his perfectly polished Mustang where you can actually see the difference. I think Dodo Supernatural was one.

The rain let up long enough to wash , Polish and apply 1 coat of bv. Now to wait until it clears again for a second coat. I am trying to decide if I want to add the purple haze this time around. After one coat, I am impressed with the glossiness and the boost to the blue paint.[ATTACH]3552

Are these waxes or something you buy at the club?
