Why do you need to mention the source? Or do you mean mention a brand that's not sold here?

People talk about other sources here, but the biggest thing is to be "respectful" about it if you do (inference/abbreviation/etc). If you want to talk 100% freely about other vendors, you can visit AG's sister site: Autopia Auto Detailing Forum (http://www.autopia.org).

One concern:
What about the liability for any misleading
claims made by third-party endorsers?

You can talk about other brands. You cannot post a link to another selling site. I personally wouldn't think its respectful to talk about another company that sells detailing products even without a link.

I agree with DC.

I choose to buy the majority of my products from AG, that doesn't mean I buy all of my products from them. But out of respect to AG and their forum I try to only discuss products and vendors that they sell and support.

So if you want to discuss non AG suppliers or items like many others do, just post it to autopia, that's what that site is there for. It's just the respectful thing to do for AG. They are open about the forum rules, posted for all to see.

DR, you post a lot of good stuff here and I personally enjoy your posts so don't take my post personally. Let's stay on course, buff on.......:buffing:
