I recently got the Collinite 476 and like it. Did you have any problems with the application? I really like the engine detail. What product or products did you use?

I really like the 'blackout' look (AKA lack of chrome) on your car ... it makes the red all that much more "potent" looking.

No problems at all. Went on like butter, came off easy.
Key is spread thin, very low speed and get right to buffing off... Don't wait too long.

For the engine, I followed Nick's sticky:
How To: Detail Your Engine Like a Professional (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/how-articles/50352-how-detail-your-engine-like-professional.html#post676260)

Wheels - Griots Wheel Cleaner
Wheel Wells - Sprayed with the Griots wheel cleaner and used a Mothers wheel brush.
Wash - Pinnacle Body Shampoo
Back doors - Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion - Removed dog slobber, I used a hand applicator
Collinite 476 - I used LC Blue Pad & PC 7424.
Wheels - Megs QD spray
Tires - Pinnacle Black Onyx
Wheel Wells (black plastic parts) Black Onyx

Thanks Don, I've noticed that on the red cars the Collinite makes the paint a deeper color. Can't wait to try it on the black car.
Even my neighbor stopped by the next morning to ask my how I got the car to look so new. I handed him a business card. :-)

Thanks Marc & cstmsprty

I had the same experience with the Collinite 476. I asked, because I have seen posts that the 476 is difficult to remove.

Nick does it again. Thanks for the reply.
