Out of curiosity, lets see what everyone here does for a living, and their level of detailing. Age optional.

I'm full time nurse, LVN. 23 years old.
Got into detailing a few months ago, cause i got my first car.
Experience is only working on my car, and my parents car, used a DA MT300 once.

I work for a aluminum wheel manufacturer for Toyota. It's good to know how the wheels are made through the whole process .

I sell packaging systems.

I set up this packaging line for a start up wheel mfg a couple years ago.

I run a sales team for a major biotechnology company. But detail Friday nights, Sat and Sunday. And during the summer 2 additional nights a week. Total junkie.

I was in engineering in the oil industry. I worked for a small start up company till April when the low oil prices hurt us. I am now in sales for a local furniture company. Not very glamorous, but it pays the bills.

Operator at a small oil refinery. We make the gasoline and diesel we all love to burn. Been there for 19 years now.
The shift work sucks. I have to work every other weekend. But we have a nice 401K and pension. Should be set up pretty good in 15 or so years when I'm old enough to retire.

I've been detailing since the 80's because my dad loved his cars. Every single Sunday morning he was out there washing his cars and he got me into it.
We never touched a DA though. Washing and waxing was all we did back then. I wish he was still around so I could show him all the stuff I learned on this site.

I go to school full time! Fall, spring, and summer. I know all the suckiness right now will pay off in the end, though.

I got into what I thought was detailing a few years ago, then found this site a few months ago and that's when my "problem" really started!
