One more recent job, a Mini convertible. This got the more common interior and exterior deep cleaning and protection.

Process
D103 and Tarminator on the solvent based tire dressing
Megs DUB wheel cleaner
Prefoamed with CG CW+G and Ultiamte snowfoam
2BM with CG Citrus wash clear
Decon with ONR and speedy prep towel
Trim striped with Zep Citrus degreaser
Engine cleaned with Zep Citrus via tornador and protected with 303AP
LSP was BFWD
Convertible top cleaned brushed during snowfoam, protected with 303FG
Trim protected with UTTG v1
Tire protected with PERL

Sling from solvent based tire dressing, stay away from that stuff. Excuse the blur.

Couple little tricks from this work:

I do not like using an extractor unless I have to on interiors, but I always use it on floor mats. To keep the bottom of the mats clean, I purchased a roll of plastic vapor barrier at the home store, cut and roll a piece out to have a clean working surface every time.

http://i1371.photobucket.com/albums/ag290/detailedcreationsmpls/2012%20Mini/IMG_7530_zps3sbz4wej.jpg (http://s1371.photobucket.com/user/detailedcreationsmpls/media/2012%20Mini/IMG_7530_zps3sbz4wej.jpg.html)

I used dish drying mats with a foam core to dry the convertible top. Lay flat, pat dry and flip to the next section. Used a total of 3 for the top.

For the convertible top, I used 303FG. I took a page from someone (Swanic or Klasse I think) about brushing on Tuf Shine. I put a portion of the 303FG in a small bucket and used a brush to apply the 303FG very thick. There were some bubbles that had a white look, but they subsided and cause no issues, as a result, I got very even and solid coverage.

Very nice work. I'm really liking the beading shot of the water on the fabric.

Thanks for sharing.

That's 3:1 PERL, I use it for interior and exterior, very versatile dilution ratio.

Thanks Mike, now if I can somehow ges a Rolls Royce in the next 4 days I'll have the BMW trifecta this month.

Im a big fan of 303FG. I tried to show the owner how water beaded, but when I dribbled it out of a sprayer it literally bounced around on the top like a trampoline; possibly an even better exhibition.
