So I am going to be detailing my friends 7 series this weekend. I have done my 08 Corvette which had swirl/water marks from hell and had no issues at all.

For the Corvette I used:

Clay
M105
M205
Hex Logic 5.5" Orange and White pads
Rejex for the sealant

It worked out perfect and very easy. So I have heard some issues of the Jet Black marring and very hard to correct swirls. I know the typical answer will be do a test spot no larger than 2X2, but other than starting out with a White Hex-Logic pad and M105 is there anything else someone could recommend.

Appreciate the help.

I would post a pic of the areas your going after..would help to know how bad the defect is.

Well I have Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover, so I guess I can start with that.
