I just applied DG NGCC to my second car. It can last up to 2 years which I understand is a conservative estimate. Is the DG NGCC considered more of a sealant even though it lasts quite a while? Price wise, it's in the ballpark of a coating.

Duragloss calls it a coating and not a sealant. No sealant that I'm aware of will last 2 years.

I could agree that since Duragloss says it's a 'Coating'...
then it's gotta be a 'Coating'.

But if a person would happen to disagree, or be otherwise unsure: then just agreeing with the good folks at Duragloss would be the easy way out...(even though it also says 'Coating' on the packaging).

So...(long story short)...
How do you define what constitutes:
-A 'Coating?
-A Sealant?

Yeah, coating is right in the name so I too call it a coating

Mine clogged up the sprayer pretty good when I let it sit--no sealant has ever done that to me.
