I've found karcher to be reasonable enough for the money. just make sure that you drain down fully and store somewhere frost free in the winter. they're prone to having the O rings blow and it won't be covered by your warranty.

I just bought this exact one at my local Home Depot for $99. So far it works great with no complaints.

I bought this one: Karcher K5.740 X Series 2000 PSI Electric-Cold Water Pressure Washer (http://www.pressurewashersdirect.com/Karcher-K5.740-Pressure-Washer/p6276.html) . I'm very happy with it. I have a decent gas 2400PSI PW with a Honda engine for my walk and driveway, but won't use it on my cars. One not-so-obvious benefit of an electric PW is that they aren't very noisy when you pull the trigger and dead-silent when you release the trigger.

The only thing I would change is to get a longer pressure hose and a quick release connection to connect the pressure hose to the PW. I'm not sure if they make such a hose, but I'd buy it if available.

Dan.

I bought a 12m (36 foot) hose for mine, I think they do a 15m as well. Fairly expensive, but worth it.

It turns out that the units with the built in reel can't be used with an extension hose. At least none of the hoses I could find.

Thanks anyway,

Dan.
