Rupes 21 pad question

I currently have the rupes 21 with 5 inches backing plate

I'm using the B&S Microfiber 5.5 pads

Can I use the meguiars cutting disk with the same backing plate or is it too risky?

I meant the Meguiars 5" cutting disk with rupes 5" backing plate
