Or, you could move to Florida, pay sales tax, and get free shipping on anything >$95.00.

Yeah, so I get free shipping and I get zapped 7% on sales tax. Now taxed on Amazon too since they opened up two distribution facilities in Florida.

I'm getting the rupes mini and some pads. $400 plus shipping. I just checked on amazon and autogeek ships it free through Amazon. I don't get it

The detailing business is enough to make you pull your hair out. You can go to every detailing site and the price/shipping is different. There is quite a large markup on most supplies that is why sales are not special and so frequent. You have to go to another forum to discuss where to get the best deals. I guess it is ok to say Amazon or EBay because PBMC sells on those sites and probably others I don't know about.

It certainly is strange.

IMO:
•When it comes to We Consumers and "web-shopping"...
-We never really got anything for "free"...
And that includes shipping!

-We just earned the company slightly less profit.

•And sometimes, depending on the Company's
pricing model:
-We Consumers may not have even done that!!

I usually make a habit of checking all PBMG websites along with some others depending on the product/s I want to order for the best OVER ALL price. A real pain. But worth it.

Dont forget about AG's pricematch policy

I hate the price match crapolla. I have sent AG price match stuff and waited for an answer and the offer which only was for three days expired, so I quit trying the price match and just buy where the price is best. I haven't placed an order here for a while. I want to support AG, but they have to support me too. That two way street thing.

I realize this has been discussed ad nauseum - but it really is an issue for some.

I simply do not have the time, or patience, to go through the whole price match "game".

I have gravitated toward ordering from places other than Autogeek, as I don't have the luxury of always waiting for their special offers.

Revisiting their shipping protocol would change my current ordering habits

What "game"?

See a good legit price, call Nick or anybody else, pay same price here and benefit from great customer service and this wonderful forum.

You make it sound like it's the trials of Sisyphus or something. I'm willing to bet you've never tried a price-match but are complaining anyway.

I'd leave Sisyphus at the foot of the mountain if I were you.
