So last July my father gave me his brand new 2014 F-150 for me to do my first coating application (brave soul I know..haha). I did a lot of research and chose Opti-Coat 2.0. After a thorough wash, light polish, and an Eraser wipedown, I applied the Opti-Coat as directed. I bought him a bottle of CarPro Reset to use when he washed it. He is retired so he washes it OFTEN and he was VERY pleased with how the coating was working.
Tonight I got his truck to apply some CarPro Reload and I have 2 quick questions.
1) Here is a video of the hood. Not the best quality (both of my cameras were of course dead) and I was running out of daylight, but how do you guys think the hydrophobic capabilities of the coating are holding up? I followed the application directions to a tee, but I often doubt myself so I wanted to know what you guys thought.

2) Any tips for applying Reload? It says you should dilute it 1:1 for dark vehicles. Not sure I have a free spray bottle to do this. Is it a good idea??
