I am looking for some long term sealants and i came across these..BLACKFIRE Crystal Coat Paint Coating (http://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-crystal-coat-paint-coating.html)
Detailer’s Paint Coating, nano paint sealant, ceramic paint coating, nano paint coating (http://www.autogeek.net/nano-paint-sealant.html)

has anyone tried them and which one do you recommend..this will be my first time detailing and according to autogeek " While not as easy to apply as DP Paint Coating or Optimum Gloss-Coat, BLACKFIRE Crystal Coat is definitely worth the extra effort because it protects your vehicle's paint the best."

so which one should i get..i usually dont have much time for detailing so looking for something bit long term than 3 to 4 months..car will be garaged during the night daytime its outside..

search the forum and/or youtube. Both have info. Also, it is a coating, not a sealant.

If this is your first time detailing IMO you shouldn't be applying a coating. For the coating to look good the finish needs to be in excellent condition--this means machine polishing. Secondly the finish needs to be absolutely squeaky clean for the coating to bond and thirdly you need to smooth out the high spots at the right time. If you mess up the coating application the only way to remove it is by polishing off with a machine.

There are many sealants out there that will last at least 6 months and are much more forgiving. Some are WOWA (wipe on walk away) which would give you some practice at the technique you need to use applying a coating, which you can always do once you are more experienced.

Spend some time here reading to get a handle on the products and techniques you will need.
