Well, today was my first day of detailing as a professional.

Here are the after pics. Sorry! No before pics. I got to excited and was eager to start detailing. LOL.

First detail was a 2014 Toyota Tacoma:
-Exterior washed/foamed with CG Citrus Wash & Gloss w/ Gilmour Foam Gun
-Decontaminated with NanoSkin Auto Scrub 4 inch Fine Grade using the Porter Cable 7346 w/ 3.5 inch BP. (TIME SAVER!)
-Paint Sealed with SmartSealant
-Interior vacuum and wipe down
-Tires dressed with SmartDressing
-Windows cleaned with Meguiars Glass Cleaner.

Total time: 3.5 hours

All in all, I think it was a good day but I feel that I can do better on timing. Maybe faster? Or am I okay?

I got two more tomorrow. Both are exterior details only with one of em with a headlight restoration.

Photos don't work however congrats on your first day of success as a professional detailer. Your timing seems pretty on point of you ask me especially if you are a one man show. It use to take me about an hour and a half just to wash my car and it was a coupe lol. You might be able to shave off a couple minutes but all in all you're good. How did you like your first day?

Wow only now did I realize the OP was from Hawaii. Oahu is becoming saturated with detailers now. I live over in Maui but love Oahu no doubt. It's the LA of Hawaii and I've thought of moving there to detail as well. PM me and next time we head up to Oahu it would be nice to meet up with other fellow detailers.

Sorry about that. Here are the photos. Taken with my Note3. I need to get a better camera. All photos are after photos. I gotta remember to take before pics.

Tacoma and Mercedes were my Saturday details.

2014 Tacoma got a NanoSkin Fine Grade treatment and SmartSealant, interior vacuum and interior wipe down with CG AllClean diluted 20:1

Mercedes had a 2month old paint job. I originally offered a one-step polish but then I backed out. I didnt feel comfortable polishing new paint with the FLEX 3401. So I did the same detail as the 2014 Tacoma.

Ford Econoline and Trailblazer were this mornings detail.

The white van was done this morning. Customer wanted an exterior wash only. I foamed the van with a 2 capfuls of MEGS ultimate wash and wax in the Gilmours Foam Gun, setting D and proceeded with the 2 bucket wash method using Meguiars Microfiber Wash Mitt and Meguiars Ultimate Wash & Wax. Top it off with MEGS Ultimate Quik Wax and cleaned the windows with MEGS Glass Cleaner. Wheels/Tires Cleaned with CG Diablo Cleaner.

After the van, Trailblazer came in for a detail. I did the same as the white van and included a headlight restoration with MEGS Heavy Duty Headlight Restoration Kit and an interior vacuum and wipe down. Wheels/Tires cleaned with CG Diablo Gel.

I'm waiting for the customer to send me pics. LOL. I only took pics of the headslights and a bunch of before pics.

Yup from home! I'm surprised that my customers don't mind coming to me to have their car detailed. I guess it's more comfortable for me and I have shade!
