I started working on a 08 Lexus GX430 yesterday and I can't get past the hood. Looking at the pictures, is this somthing that can be fixed with compound/polish?

This is after using HD Adapt with Blue hybrid cutting pad with a Flex 3401 ... then a orange hybrid cutting pad with FG400. These dots are all over.

This is a shot with a 400 lumen LED light directly on the spot.

If you have a paint thinkness gauge you can do a quick measurement on the spot versus an intact part of the hood and see what the difference is.

The truck looks good :props: Don't feel too bad about the hood, cracked or failing clear coat is something that a detailer can't really do anything about.
